Norma Barlow Columbine

This is one of my favorite columbines - the Norma Barlow. There are so many flowers on each stem.

Funeral for a Veteran

Remembering a friend and veteran who died recently. Tom served during the Vietnam War and had long-term medical issues related to his service. The quilt hanging on the wall is from the Quilts of Valor program that was presented to Tom about seven months ago. He was an exceptional man who faced life's challenges with strength and courage.

Sculptures

Two sculptures at Franconia Sculpture Park.

SAORI Weaving - Wall Hanging

SAORI weaving is a fiber art medium that I truly enjoy. I love that there's a lot of self-expression and creativity involved with each piece that I create. Today, I chose to use bits of colorful roving as I wove adding unexpected bumps and surfaces throughout the piece.

Raccoon

On a hike in Wisconsin, my sister and I were surprised to see this raccoon in the middle of the day.

Sign at the County Fair

For a couple of decades now I have gone to the Washington County Fair and never noticed this sign. Sometimes going to a place off-season and taking a look at it through a different lens yields some interesting finds.

Cows in the Pasture

The cows were in a pasture along Highway 95 today. It was a beautiful day for them to eat and relax.

Tiny Pinecones

There are tiny pinecones on many of the trees. These pinecones have an almost magenta-color to them.
