Vintage Mural

This vintage mural has been on a brick wall on the Grand Garage in Stillwater for decades. It was painted by Randall Raduenz who now is 70 years old. He has completed over 20 murals in Stillwater. 

St. Croix River

Olivia and I spent time photographing the St. Croix River today. This is a view looking south towards Bayport. 

 

Moon and Venus

Looking out at the backyard and to the south, the moon and Venus have been shining brightly in the sky.

Senior Photos - 3 More

Olivia loves nature - so spending time taking senior photos in the park and along the Mississippi River were perfect locations for her.

Celebrating Chinese Culture

For Olivia's senior photos, she wore a traditional Chinese dress that we purchased when she was adopted in 2003. She picked out the headpiece to complement her dress. 

Sunrise Before 6 a.m.

 The sky was a beautiful color as the sun rose before 6 a.m. on Halloween.

Moon Rise

 The moon was rising far above the evergreens in the front yard. 

Upcycled Art

There was an exhibit of upcycled art at the White Bear Center for the Arts. The first photograph is of flowers made from pop or water bottles. The second photograph is of mushrooms created from plastic bags. 

Milkweed Seeds

The milkweed seeds and fluff are ready to be carried off by the wind.

 

Harvest Time

It's time for the corn to be harvested. 

Osceola Parade

One of the best parades in the region is one in Osceola. With over 90 units, the parade lasts for about an hour and a half. There are lots of handouts - for both children and adults.
